Music Space
The MusicSpace Trust is a registered charity founded in 1989.It provides music therapy for children and adults in their own communities. The Trust currently has four active branches, Bristol, Nottingham, Hampshire and London.
The trust has four main roles:
- It provides music therapy for children and adults with wide ranging health care needs.
- It seeks to extend the benefits of music therapy to a wider range of the community through developing a UK wide network of community based centres.
- It provides training for aspiring music therapists and workshops for carers and other health professionals.
- It seeks to investigate and supervise research projects on the effectiveness and the processes of music therapy.
