SeeAbility

SeeAbility exists to enable and promote better lives for people with sight loss and multiple disabilities. The people we support may have a combination of additional complex needs such as severe learning disabilities, dual sensory loss, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, physical and mental health difficulties and acquired brain injury. SeeAbility provides specialist housing and support as well as a range of specialist therapeutic services (speech and language therapy, rehabilitation, physiotherapy) to improve each individual's welfare. Through our Information and Advisory Service we are able to reach even more people with learning disabilities, their carers and professionals around all aspects of eye car across the UK through the dissemination of information, best practice, training and guidance. We currently have a community project working in the north of England and the East Midlands including Nottinghamshire.
