'Working together to support families'

Home-Start Newark helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them. The benefits of their support include improved health and well-being and better family relationships. Their trained volunteer team provide one-to-one support to parents and any family that is struggling to cope where there is at least one child under five. They also run family groups and social events for families as well as specialised group support for parents struggling to cope with a particular issue.
